The AXESS 5 has all the fundamental qualities that make a versatile harness suitable for beginners: easy adjustment, a clear locking system, secure attachment of the glider, easy to find a sitting position after take-off and easy to straighten up before landing.

The AXESS 5 features a sturdy construction with a Honeycomb PP seatboard and SAS-TEC impact protectors in addition to the main protector. However, its folding volume remains surprisingly compact for a harness equipped like this. The back section folds down as close as possible to the seatboard and the Air-Foam hybrid protector can be easily compressed when inserted into the backpack.

On the AXESS 5, ADVANCE's removable Air-Foam Hybrid is the main protector. Specially developed at the time for the AXESS 2, this protector is characterized by an integral protection effect from takeoff. In addition, SAS-TEC soft viscoelastic protective foams have been integrated on the sides and back. They act as protection against shocks and penetration of sharp objects.
